Much of downtown Annapolis sits under historic preservation review. Structures often cannot come down conventionally, and in many cases only part of a building is coming down at all.
Selective demolition, hand demolition where machines cannot reach, and structural work on party walls are core capabilities for us, not occasional exceptions.

Properties along Spa Creek, Back Creek, and the Severn River fall inside the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area, where the 100-foot buffer, sediment control, and erosion requirements shape the entire project sequence.

Digger Demolition was founded in 2019 by Donna Howell as a woman-owned business. The company is led by professionals whose roots in demolition, construction, and recycling go back three generations across the Mid-Atlantic.
The company is young. The people running it are not.

Tom Kline, Director of Field Operations, brings 46+ years of hands-on industry experience to every project we bid. Our leadership team has collectively overseen more than $1.5 billion in construction projects and completed 47+ design-build projects.
